MEETINGS:
Troop 116 meets on Monday evenings from 7:00PM until 8:30PM at Sequoyah United Methodist Church.
The Troop gathers at 6:45 with the meeting beginning at 7:00PM sharp.
Scouts should be dressed in full Class A uniforms consisting of shirt, neckerchief, pant or shorts with a belt and appropriate footwear.

Patrol Leader Meetings are held once per month and are scheduled for the Monday after each campout. All Patrol Leaders, Asst. Patrol Leaders, and any boy holding a position (Scribe, Quartermaster etc.) in the Troop are encouraged to attend.

DUES:
Troop dues help off-set the expense of running our Troop. Education materials, Troop patches, merit badges, hand-outs, camping gear and other items are essential for the running of the Troop. We try very hard to keep this to a minimum.
Scouting Scholarships are available. Please contact our Committee Chairman for information.

CAMP OUTS:
Troop 116 makes every effort to have at least one camp out per month. Our area is rich in locations ideal to take advantage of camping, hiking, and canoeing. Although attending every camp out is not required, boys that regularly miss camp outs will miss out on some activities that are needed for advancement.
Each attending boy will be assessed a small fee to help cover the cost of food for camp outs.

Troop 116 attends a one week Summer Camp each year. Traditionally this takes place at Camp Orr near Jasper, AR. The cost of camp are minimal compared to other summer camps.
